The Yellow Room, Inc. was established in 2008. The original partners, having know Kathryn Barry for over 25 years, teamed up with KBarry Architect LLC in 2017 and beginning in January of 2024 Kathryn joined the Yellow Room as a principal and director.

The members of the team all have over 25 years of experience in the design profession. Their project experience ranges from historical tax credit adaptive reuse to healthcare and laboratory buildings.
